Graduate Research Office
(formerly Graduate Centre)

The Graduate Research Office caters to all Postgraduate research students from commencement right through to completion. This web-site contains much useful information designed to assist you throughout every step of your candidature.

Graduate Research Office replaces what was previously known as the Graduate Centre. Some of the services from the old Graduate Centre have also moved, and contact details have changed (see below). ‘HDR’ means Higher Degree by Research:
Postgraduate Research Degrees: Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Master of Philosophy (MPhil), Master of Laws by Research (LLM (Res)), Research Masters with Training (RMT), Master of Education (Research) (MEd (Res)). Professional Doctorates: Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), Doctor of Education (EdD), Doctor of Human Resource Management (DHRM), Doctor of Information Technology (DIT), and Doctor of Psychology (DPsych).

HDR does not include Masters by course work only, or honours students. Training for HDR students, such as the Graduate Research Education and Training (GREAT) Program, is now located in Student Life and Learning.

Communication to students: All communication from Graduate Research Office to students will be through your designated Murdoch student email address. It will, therefore, be very important for all students to regularly check their Murdoch student email.

For other Enquires about Higher Degrees by Research matters please contact our Graduate Research Office.
