Access to Thesis
Following successful examination of the
thesis, two copies will be deposited in the University Library and copies will
be given to each supervisor. The University expects that the thesis will
be immediately available for consultation, loan and photocopying. However,
it is recognised that in exceptional circumstances, such as commercial confidentiality,
it may be necessary to restrict access. Any restriction of access should
be for the shortest possible time and should not normally exceed one year.
Any candidate wishing to restrict access
to a thesis should make a written submission to the Secretary of the Research
Degrees and Scholarships Committee, together with the written support of the
principal supervisor.
