Guild

The Guild of Students is the body that expresses collective student opinion to Federal and State governments, to government agencies and to the University. It has representation on the University Senate, the Academic Council and numerous other University Committees.

The Guild supports and assists the activities of more than 50 clubs, societies and Associations.  Other services and facilities provided by the Guild are a Recreation and Sport Centre, Sir Walter’s Cafe and a Tavern. The Guild also offers advice on housing, academic and welfare matters, accident insurance, job schemes and accommodation, student publications; access to legal advice; social events, films, bands and other social activities.
