Partnership Scholarships

The Research and Development Board wishes to encourage supervisors and students to approach business, government agencies and others, to help to fund scholarships.

The R&D Board has agreed to match dollar for dollar, funds attracted from external organisations for the scholarship component of research Masters or research Doctorate degrees. This is conditional upon the Graduate Centre and the Faculty accepting a suitable scholarship applicant for a place, and subject to financial limits.

This scholarship is not available for top-up scholarships and one-off bursaries.

A 125% taxation rebate may be available for organisations sponsoring research scholarships at Murdoch University. A 175% rebate may also be available if the sponsoring company has a track record of contributing to R&D projects. (Individual companies can assess their rebate potential by contacting their own accountant).
