Graduate CentrePostgraduate Students' Association (MUPSA)Students enrolled for higher degrees at Murdoch University, and who are Guild members are automatically members of MUPSA. Associate membership is available to non-Guild members who pay the annual MUPSA membership fee. MUPSA provides a forum in which postgraduates can interact socially and intellectually on matters of common interest. The Association also promotes the welfare and interests of postgraduates to the appropriate bodies within the University and wider community. Communication between members of the Association is enhanced by the publication of a newsletter and social events during the year. MUPSA obtains its financial support from an annual allocation of a proportion of the Guild fees paid by postgraduate students and is administered by an Executive consisting of four elected officials. In addition, postgraduate students elected to the various committees and boards throughout the University may be co-opted onto the Executive. All postgraduate students are eligible to vote in elections for the four officials of the Executive regardless of whether they are members of the Guild or not. MUPSA is your association and the body through which you may voice your opinion on postgraduate issues of any kind. Through MUPSA, postgraduate students have the opportunity to play an active role in education and University policy issues relating to their candidature. Students seeking more information on MUPSA
